Default 12/26/11: GT: Memphis Grizzlies @ San Antonio Spurs 8:30pm ET

The San Antonio Spurs' 61 wins in 2010-11 were their most in five seasons, yet none of them mattered to the upstart Memphis Grizzlies when the teams met in a first-round playoff series.

Duncan's 2nd and especially 3rd foul were jokes.

Spurs controlled their turnovers in 2nd quarter and got back into the game.

This game has been ugly and I think will only go to prove that the Grizzlies have another trade in the works for a PF/C. Brian Skinner is by no way an NBA caliber backup and even if they resign Haddadi when he gets back in the USA, there is no way they don't trade our abundance of wing players for a big 4/5 guy.

I concur. I see absolutely no reason for the Griz NOT to resign Haddadi, Solid Back Up.

Kawhi Leanord looking pretty good for the Spurs, despite missing all 5 of his shots thus far. very active, has large hands, gotten 2 steals already and 3 offensive boards (4 total).

I've never seen this Grizzlies team turn the ball over like this before. It's unbelievable. THe good points from tonight is Rudy Gay looks back to normal and is playing really good. Dante Cunningham and Quincy Pondexter look good too. The bad news is that Zach Randolph and Tony Allen might as well not even be there. It's also a little puzzling that in the final couple of minutes with all the starters on the floor, Hollins is playing Pondexter at the SG over Tony Allen and OJ Mayo. Hmmm.
