Hopefully he recovers well and can get at least close to old form. He is one of my favorite players and it would be a shame to see his career end earlier then it should because an injury.

Sure, but the damage is so bad that he'll definitely lose some explosiveness. Not only did he tear his ACL, but he also tore his MCL.

Doesn't matter how young you are. A torn ACL and MCL is some serious sh*t. He can recover and still be productive, but his explosiveness that made him an elite RB is gone. It's not like he's 21-22. He's going to be 27 in 3 months. He was several years on his legs already. I don't doubt that he'll return, but he's not going to be the same.

That's terrible news, love Peterson. He's a generational RB. For me personally, sucks that my team injured him that badly in a game that meant nothing except for draft positioning.

Sorry Minnesota fans especially. Hope he can have an awesome surgery/rehab and come back strong as ever

Yes he is a hated division rival but I like for him to be there when we play them. You always want your team to beat the best and he is still. I would hope he takes the entire season off. Recoups, gets stronger and comes back fully healthy. He always seemes like a nice guy and you never heard off the field issues so I would hope he can come back like the old AP.
