Ersan Ilyasova returning from overseas
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Forward Ersan Ilyasova is scheduled to arrive in Milwaukee on Thursday after completing a stint with Turkish professional club Anadolu Efes during the NBA lockout.
Ilyasova is expected to join the Bucks in time for the start of training camp on Friday, according to agent Justin Zanik.
The 6-foot-10 Ilyasova is in the third year of a three-year, $7 million contract he signed with the Bucks prior to the 2009-'10 season. He has played in 141 games for the Bucks over the past two seasons, including 65 starts.
"Obviously we're making sure he fulfills his obligations in a timely manner," Zanik said.
Under FIBA rules, players with existing NBA contracts were obligated to return to their respective teams once the lockout ended.
