lol haha I also agree with that 100%. Maybe if ISH consisted of more people agreeing, it'd probably be less fun to stick around though don't you think?? imagine
idiot #1: Kobe is good, but he doesn't pass
Kobe groupie: I agree. You are way too smart.
idiot #2: T-Mac has not been playing at his best, what happend? Rockets might need some changes
I will say this if you have Shaq, Russell, Wilt, Kareem, Akeem
MJ, Scott Pippen, Magic, Dr J, The Glove, Isiah, Kevin Johnson, Tim Duncan, Lebron, Wade...
Jezus Christos....
Better Team play will probably beat Most Talented... Internationally the US team has to get used to each other and coach and system not easy... Not easy to do when you dont have the best basketball savy players on the team...
The original dream team the best collection of talent and bball knowledge...

this is true, but you gotta reach back into the past to find players who will step back and let others shine because their unique talents are the best option.
Case in point the 92 team was lead by Barkley, because no one else in the world knew how to deal with a big mean beyotch like that. Barkley also took charge, but the point is better players let him do so cuz ti was working.
Today's players, as we saw in 02 04 06 can't downgrade their game for the good of the team.
Black players are waaaaaaaaaaaay better than whites (only a few of the all time great whites cane ven hang), but talent actually means so little once you get to the highest level.
That'd be my team as well for size reasons. Or you could put West at the 1 and Rick Barry at the 2 (can't believe everyone forgot Barry). Here's my all-white team:
Center is their weakest position. They're pretty thin there. I feel they hold their own at every other spot, with a decided edge at SF due to Bird's brilliance. They'd likely still lose 7 games out of 10, however, by an average margin of around 8-10 points if I had to guess.
An uninjured, prime Walton was a top 5 all time center.
I am making teams according to the strengths of each race IMO. The white team is interesting because the players are so versatile.. great perimeter shooting.. rebounding and post play from the bigs. I think shooting is very very underrated in the NBA and shooters don't get the respect they deserve or the foul calls. I think a team that shoots this well should be unbeatable.. especially compared to a poor shooting team. But I have no idea who would really win.
White shooting team to spread the floor completely.
CC Sabonis (prime)
PF Dirk (Prime - still hasn't been reached)
SF Bird
SG West
PG Stockton or Nash (whichever is the better shooter)

I have him at #6 or 7 personally (behind Wilt, Kareem, Russell, Shaq, Hakeem, and possibly DRob). Still, even acknowledging that he's top 6 in terms of centers, the gap between #'s 1 and 2 (Wilt and Kareem) to #6 (Walton) is pretty huge.
Why has nobody mentioned Laimbeer? If anybody can get rival players frustrated and distracted it has to be him. Definitely not as good as any other centers mentioned, but I think he could affect the rivals more than any other player. I definitely would take him over Mikan.
