Not only does nothing in Allen's history suggest what you hope to see from him but due to the timing of his trade he's going to mbe asked to dominate the ball for Denver.
For the next 12 games (have they announced if the postponed game will be counted or not???) Allen will be asked to do exactly what he did in Philly; be the first option of offense.
He's been the first option at every point in his basketball life. Yet you want to belive that the second Carmelo Anthony steps onto the court with him Allen will suddenly change his game and become a playmaker???
Nothing but wishful thinking.

Valid but if WILT can take a back seat scoring so can AI...and AI has played distributor in short stints like he Olympics (althought that didn't go to well)
You can't always use past behaviour as a precursor for the future especially here when the offensive talen around him along withthe offensive aggresiveness is much different...plus the ablity to finish around the rim...N4 Dalembert he almost always had non finishers in the front court....and Smith and Melo are way more confident and aggresive that A!2 and Korver who ended up giving teh ball back to AI.
