Honestly are the Miami Heat's chances of a championship next season that much better?
there chemistry will probably get a little better and they have a little more experience but thats it. if anything lebron has been developing in a horizontal progression and wade is not getting any younger while bosh has been marginalized by the other two. They are now the team to build against, so every other team will be adding new assets in order to compete with the heat. There are many up and coming teams that will fair much better than they did this year that have similar talent to the heat and from the reception of this years heat team and the amount of money they have on the payroll for role players, i doubt they get anyone of significance to improve their roster. I mean they still have a good chance next year but lets not fool ourselves , this year was probably one of their best shots at winning a ship.

There is so many more dimensions the Lebron and Wade duo can add to there games at this point the duo is not even close to there potential. If they are able to fully use all the talent out of Wade and Lebron there chances are so much better

For all the talk about how Miami failed, I think people are underselling Dallas. Yeah, Miami (and LeBron) made a LOT of mistakes, but I also feel like the Mavs were JUST GOING TO WIN THIS YEAR. Dirk and Kidd weren't going to let it go, so Miami also ran into the perfect storm this year of just enough talent, a lot of heart, and more raw WANT for the championship then I've seen in a while.
They obviously need to evaluate their performances, but they are going to be back in it next year.

I agree. Magic Johnson talked about this last night during the post game wrap up, and how he cost the Lakers the '84 NBA title game and how he wanted to get better. This, hopefully will fuel James and Wade, mostly James. I see the Heat running the East for another 3-4 years...and they will get a title next season. I am calling it now.

i think it will be easier for them next year- they are only going to upgrade the roster, a healthier miller and haslem and a year of gel= bad news for the rest of the league. they shat on the rest of the eastern conference including probably the 3rd and 4th best teams in the league in boston and chicago just ran out of gas and ran into a very motivated mavs team....

sorry not buying that .. miami blew some chances in this series .. losing game 2 after being up 15 with 5 left .. that's a choke job, INEXCUSABLE .. I blame spoelstra completely .. they should not have lost that game period .. at 2-0 suddenly the series is very different .. spoelstra needs to go ..

I admitted they made some mistakes. And there is no excuse for LeBron's performance. I just mean that I truly feel like nobody was getting by Dallas this year.
