Default Heat Trade Proposals

I know people are gonna say its only their first year and they need time to gel. But This series shows that you need reliable bench players and starters to get points. Here are some trades that I think might work for Miami.

Denver - Get James
Miami - Gets Gallo, Felton & Harrington
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=3hj95y8

Indiana - Get James
Miami - Gets Granger, Hibbert & Price
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=3ohcy5x

Utah - Gets James
Miami - Gets Harris, Favors and Bell
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=3mcfa7p

Atlanta - Gets James
Miami - Gets Horford, Teague and M.Williams
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=4yryugf

Minesota -Gets James
Miami - Gets Love, Johnson, Darko & Ridnour
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMa...radeId=3swrsfp

These are just a few suggestions but there are many possibilities when you are trading a super star for role players or quality starters.

lol my favorite one is the Minnesota trade. They don't have many more games they can lose and somehow adding Lebron and taking away Love, Johnson, Ridnour and Darko ****ing Milicic is going to make them lose another 3 games.

I sense a common theme amongst your trades....I could be wrong though.

just get rid of miller, bibby, ilgauskas, dampier, howard, jones and start focusing on a better more reliable and role playing bench.

How could you sign any quality players when the Heat are practically maxed out on their cap with the Big 3's salary. Most of the guys you mentioned either took a big pay cut or are on vet minimum salary. You are going to have to sacrifice one of the big 3 to get quality players in return.

Depending on how the new CBA works out, it could be that Miami's already over the salary cap with James, Bosh, Wade, Haslem and Miller. A lot of talk is that the mid-level and bi-annual exceptions are going buhbye in the negotiations, as well.

No one's trading them for Mike Miller who spent a good portion of this season injured to some degree or any of those other wagon hitchers that you listed.

If they don't trade Bosh, Wade or James...they could be facing a situation where they have quite literally no room to improve this team.

There's no way in hell they are going to trade one of the big three, hell they would be the laughing stock of the world.

It would be a brilliant move on Pat Riley's part. He got these bozos to sign for less money than they would have made with their other free agent suitors last summer.

To then take a contract with lower value and then flip a superstar out of there for some real value? That would be ballsy and I'd admire Riley for a move like that.

When all else fails, blame the bench.

Very good post.

Bosh is a good number 2 option and in fact should stay with miami. The question is, do you keep wade or james? yoy can't have 2 ball dominant players on the same team if you can avoid it.

James is younger but wade is the captain of this team. very hard decision...
