Re: At 22, has Durant surpassed McGrady career wise?
Seeing as how Durant actually has won a playoff round (or two, three, etc.), I'd say yes.
Not being able to get out of the first round is pathetic. Should've stayed in Toronto, T-Mac, you had a team that maybe could've done something there all ready to go but you just couldn't stand being in your cousin's shadow.
The sad part is McGrady is actually more talented than Durant. Just doesn't have the heart/brains.

The only thing prime McGrady had on 21 year old Durant was passing and defense. Durant was a superior scorer and rebounder.
And Prime McGrady lasted 1 year

No, joyner no.
Prime T-Mac is much more of a player than Durant could dream of being.

When did McGrady ever have a player like Westbrook next to him. Yeah Westbrick messes things us, but no way in hell are the Thunder this good without Westbrick.

Vince Carter is better than Westbrook, and T-Mac couldn't deal with it.
He got what he deserved. Just like Marbury leaving Minnesota to play in New Jersey for the dumbest reasons rather than staying with a young KG. They could've done some real damage together.
Don't piss off the basketball gods. If you're going to another team, go there because you have a better chance to win, not for selfish reasons.

I think TMac's career #s can't be compared because the last like 3 years he's been injured and barely playing so that brings down all his stat averages. Also you should clarify that Durant made it to the WCF in his 2nd postseason, the way OP wrote it makes it sound like he did it his sophomore year.
But I do think Durant will surpass TMac by the end of this season...
