Gilbert v. LEbron wasnt that good because LEbron was so much better than Gilbo. VC and AI were a lot closer in terms of talent.
Agreed. I think Gilbo averaged, what, 21ppg in the series? Lebron averaged something like 35/7/7.
It was interesting to see a roleplayer step up and put up 21ppg, I think he might of even had one game where he actually outplayed Bron, who would of thunk it?
No but seriously, the correct answer is Vince/AI because that series went 7 games.

Yeah, uhhh again. Arenas averaged like 34ppg/6ast/5reb in the series.
the first six games of Gilbert's series were better than the first six games of AI's series.
and if the Wizards had won game 6 and game 7 was a dramatic nailbiter Gilbert's series would have been better.
but gilbert's series ended prematurely.
the issue of Bron being so much better than Gilbert is actually what made Gilberts series so great. In games 2-6, Gilbert matched Bron shot for shot, dunk for dunk, defensive play for defensive play. despite being worse. that's what made it so thrilling. real underdog story.. until he lost.
and Gilberts series had more dramatic moments. several gamewinners. at least 3 gamewinners, 2 by Bron and 1 by DJ. and I still maintain that Gilbert's 35 footer to send game 6 to OT would have been the greatest shot in NBA history had the Wizards pulled OT out and won game 7. and by itself it was still an amazing shot. and if you disagree you can suck me off cause youre wrong.

I disagree. There was some great games. There was one game where Iverson scored 19 points in the 4th quarter to come from behind and win (scoring 54 in the game). Then Carter answered with a 50 point game of his own. Then Iverson scored 50. And game 7 was even more amazing.

I remember seeing the box scores for those games. and the thing was that there were times when one of the 2 really didn't do much. like 20 pts or something like that. in the Wiz series, games 2-6 were all competitive and Gil and Bron each dropped 30+. it wasn't like, one guy has a great game today and wins, other guy has great game next day and they win. They would both score 35 and each game came down to a matter of one or two possessions, and often down to one shot.
