OKC is winning their game tonight, Dallas is losing theirs (both games are doubel digit differences right now). 1 game will seperate them in the standings should that happen.
Possible shocking standings shakeup. Didn't see this one coming. That would be a 4 game losing streak for Dallas should they lose. What's wrong with the Mavs? Any injuries?
Re: The Thunder might catch the Mavs in the standings
Chandler's back is acting up and he's been out the last few games, which really hurts their interior D. Dallas has to face some decent teams (PHO/NO/LAC/Hou) while OKC still has games against LAL/DEN/SAC/MIL. A one game lead can be erased.
Personally, I'd like to see the Mavs hold onto their lead and see a Mavs-Lakers matchup. Somehow, there hasn't been a single playoff between these two in the Dirk-Kobe era.

Good for them. It also looks like Portland and NO might be tied in the standings. Hornets are up 3 with 10 seconds left. So the Lakers might end up having to play Portland after all.

The Hornets and Blazers have identical records now, and the Hornets own the tiebreak over the Blazers, so right now, the Lakers would be playing the Blazers in the first round.

LA went from having a chance at the #1 seed overall to now potentially still playing the Thunder in the second round, not having HC against the Spurs, Bulls, or Celtics, and likely playing Portland in the first round.
