Golden State has the pieces. Philadelphia would jump at a J-Rich/Monta Ellis/Pietrus deal, wouldn't they?
I don't think GS would do that trade. It doesn't really make them contenders. They'll have Baron and AI in the backcourt but what else would they have? Weak frontcourt, thin bench. Monta is probably there to stay.
well out of those 4 teams, iverson has the greatest chance to win on the Kings...
Nah we're in the western conference, AI does not put us over Mavs, Spurs, or Suns. The Pacers would be the team most likely to be a contender with AI, or at least make it to the finals in the East.
if pacers for AI for Tinsely, Jackson and a first round pick, theyre line up would consist of
Iverson
Daniels
Granger
Harrington
Oneal
Crazy starting 5
AI wont wanna play for the pacers KKK fans im telling you people ..It may fit team wise ..but city wise AI doesnt like indiana and they dont like him ..(noone remembers Ind/Philly playoff rivalries where the fans yelled out racial slurs
After a 86-81 loss to the 76ers Jan. 28, Philadelphia's Allen Iverson said Indiana fans shouted racial slurs. And he responded by calling the pacer fan a F-A-G-G-o-T. Still a great destination for AI?
Thats like him agreeing to go to Utah and utah accepting him lol Iverson in utah ??Dont think so

well if you want to talk about cities, AI was interested in going to minni, im sure that place is no better than Indy...and thats how fans are, if youre on the opposing team, theyre going to literally hate you, especially when youre at AI's calibre, thats just natural...

76ers May Trade Former MVP Allen Iverson by Tonight, ESPN Says
By Erik Matuszewski
Dec. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The Philadelphia 76ers may accept a trade offer for former National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Allen Iverson as soon as tonight, ESPN reports.
Iverson, 31, asked to be dealt and 76ers chairman Ed Snider said the team would accommodate the four-time scoring champion's request. Iverson, who is second in the NBA with a 31.2 scoring average this season, left the 76ers three days ago and ESPN said he'll be inactive for tonight's game against Portland.
76ers' officials met yesterday to go over trade proposals and continue today to review offers, including one or two potential three-team deals, ESPN said. Team officials would like to complete a trade by tonight or tomorrow, ESPN said on its Web site, citing an unidentified person close to Iverson familiar with the situation.
The Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Bobcats and New York Knicks are among the teams to which Iverson may be traded, ESPN said. Iverson was the first pick in the 1996 draft and was voted the league's MVP in 2001, when he led the 76ers to the NBA Finals.
