Vince Carter- yes

Tracy McGrady- most likely, but definitely not first ballot

Chauncey Billups- no chance

Carter and T-Mac all dominated for at least some time. T-Mac even has scoring titles. Chauncey never dominated. The HOF is for the best, not the very good.

Carter was elite for longer. He was consistently putting up 20/5/5, or near it for almost 10 years. He also at least made the second round.

Wow some youngsters on ISH these days!
20 ppg and an all NBA 2nd and 3rd doesn't make you a HOFer.

I'll tell you this, Carter is not as good as Richmond or Chris Mullin.
Billups is not as good as Kevin Johnson or Tim Hardaway.
McGrady at his peak is a top 10 SG ever, so he gets in.

Look up who is in the Hall and come back again. Then again, most kids wouldn't know majority of the names.

Vince Carter is a first ballot hall of underachievers.
The Allstar apearances are more so due to his dunking ability than his playing ability.

Mullin just got voted in and Mitch Richmond should be in. A travesty that he's not. Billups though is no where near KJ or Hardaway. That I'll agree with.

Mullin has not been voted in. He is a finalist to be considered.

He probably will get in. I don't think he should. I was a fan of his growing up, but his prime just wasn't long enough. Carter at least dominated for about 8-9 years. He also got snubbed of two 3rd teams.

Mullin's 5 year elite prime makes Carter look like Smush Parker. He also had 5 good seasons on top of that.
Further to that, and most importantly, he isn't a whiny b!tch loser.

Good doesn't equal HOF-calibur. In those five seasons, he played in 46 and 60 games. His numbers during that span were no doubt HOF-calibur. His prime just wasn't long enough.

Let's keep in mind Vince was a pretty good player at UNC.

The Carter hate on here is disgusting, bunch of retarded sheep that have probably only ever watched him play in a handful of games

He was a beast in NJ. So what if he bailed on the craptors, who wouldnt?

Carter should make it, so what if hes known as a dunker/scorer, those are a part of basketball you blind haters!!!

McGrady, should get in, especially seeing as he still has a few more years to make some noise, he's looking in good shape now!

Billups, not so sure about, hes a great pg, but will he be remembered after a few years of retirement????

Here is one for the youngsters - Latrell Sprewell was a better player than Carter. Sprewell could score like him, but was also an elite defender. Most importantly, when the going got tough his testicles increased in size and he took the game on, compared to Carter who went through a gender change under pressure.

His NBA prime alone was damn near a decade. 20/5/5 or near it consistently is HOF calibur.

I watched Carter in college and at least 100 times in the NBA. Unfortunately despite being a top 10 talent EVER he had a pea heart.
