If the OC is such hot sh*t then why name all your teams LA This and LA That. I mean LA Angels of Anaheim? Really? How stupid and ridiculous does that sound? Now LA Royals of Anaheim. Stupid. It's like trying to be the man but needing to name drop your big brother so that people will even take you seriously. Pathetic.
Hey dumb****, LA angeles of anaheim was made to keep angels fans in LA as well as to attract those in OC. Why settle for just 1 county when you can have 2? Yes the name is shitty, but money talks. As for the royals, did you ****ing read the op? It's going to be either anaheim royals or LA royals dumbass.

Despite all your crass remarks, you've really said nothing of value. Wow, they named it LA Angels of Anaheim to capture both markets? LOL. As if there's a fan somewhere in LA County thinking "Man, f*ck the Ange... oh, sh*t. They're the LA Angels?! Hell yeah then! Go Angelsss! Where can I buy season tickets?!" Why not keep the original "California Angels" name? Then they could've had fans from all over the state.
The reality is that they named it LA Angels because of the name recognition. Everyone knows where LA is. No one outside of SoCal knows or gives a sh*t about Anaheim. It's a blatant attempt to cash in on someone else's good name.
By what stretch of the imagination is Anaheim even considered part of LA? I mean if we're going by those ludicrous naming conventions then Donald Sterling might as well change the Clips' name to San Diego Clippers of Los Angeles. Then he can still play at the Staples Center but he'll get all the San Diego folks as fans too, right?

Don't bother. Scientist is a **** up. He's actively trolling like 3 threads with his made up bullshit and retarded comments.
Lol Orange County is way better than dirty LA. Outside of Staples is nothing but homeless folk. You also have San Diego south of OC. Haters gonna hate. The name thing is stupid because LA is more nationally recognized. That's all it is. There's not that many places in OC that suck but there's plenty of places in LA that suck. LA is quite possibly one of the most overrated places ever.

My guess is you're from LA and insecure? LA is a mix of dirt, filthy rich, extremely poor, and a lot of freaks. Tell me about the trannies that walk over the streets bro.
Do they want a new arena? If so, SD is out of the question. The city is practically bankrupt. Shit, the Chargers might leave because they can't get a new stadium built. And they're the biggest draw by far.

Nice comeback. Oh wait...you really didn't say anything because your dad is probably one of those trannies walking around in green fishnets and high heels.

you leave her out of this!
orange county is nice if you like shopping centers and uninteresting people
I am surprised Stern would allow the LA area to be saturated with 3 NBA teams.
It's not up to him. He's an employee of the owners, so this is above his head.

You're thinking too small. Look at the location map for teams and see how condensed the Easter conference is and tell me there are too many teams in California. Before the move, the four teams in California were more spread out than a lot of the East coast teams. California is a long state.

Because LA sells over seas and people in Orange County are used to rooting for LA teams. It's a win/win for the team really.

Lol... uh ever heard of Santa Ana? Or the large areas of white supremacists all over the place? The OC isn't exactly the utopia that you make it out to be. They both have their ups and downs really. Orange County doesn't really have anywhere to go for a night life, you have to drive to down town. Like someone said, it's kind of boring. Unless you think going to that one club in the Gardenwalk or any of the crappy clubs by CSF is a good time. It's lows may not be as low, but it's highs aren't as high either. I've lived almost exactly half my life in LA and half in OC and there really isn't enough of a difference for one area to be putting down another. Why don't we all just hold hands and agree that the IE sucks?
The OC is great if you like neighborhood after neighborhood of non-descript McMansions and shopping centers. It's a total cultural wasteland. It's basically where folks who have more money than brains go to be around other equally shallow and dim folks so they can discuss golf and how to get better gas mileage out of their Hummers.

Pretty fair assessment. Inland Empire is dog ish. Well, their strip clubs aren't too bad and nobody calls OC "The OC" by the way..that's so gay.
