Wade getting his usual treatment but I think the Clips will pull it out.

Livingston is finally playing like the 4th pick, which is very encouraging and Brand is finally playing like a top 10 player again... which is even more encouraging.

Anyone else starting to realize that Shaq is the Heat's MVP? He may not be their best player anymore but he is by far the most valuable. Wade is suffering from a case of Bryantitus, formerly known as Anfernitus.

You know, I just love how the NBA has made it impossible to stop people driving inside.

First, it was the "your feet have to be set or it's a foul,"

Then it was the restricted area where it's a foul no matter what.

Then defensive three-seconds.

Then you can't check a man on the perimeter with your hand.

Then there's the continuation rule, which is just brilliant. A player can continue to take steps and/or shoot after the whistle, but I can't foul him again after the whistle.

So, can anyone explain to me, once Duane Wade drives into the lane, what legal way is there for anyone to stop him? Keeping in mind that the offensive player already has the advantage of making the first move, with the defensive player being forced to follow.

techincally players should just hold on to the guy or swat the ball away even after the whistle. Most guys just stop. However few offensive players take advantage of that. I do agree it is a stupid rule, along with just about most things idiot stern has come up with.

The reason most players stop is that you could pick up a flagrant. If you swat the shot away after the whistle, it's cool, but if you miss and hack the guy instead, you could pick up a flagrant. And start a fight. I mean, didn't the whole Malice at the Palace thing start because Artest had no intention of letting Ben Wallace shoot on the continuation?

AGREE...
Shaq is the Heats' MVP..
Wade was FINALS MVP because Shaq was always doubled or tripled.
That, and the refs were very courteous to Wade!
