I'm assuming this is a wingspan thread.
OJ Mayo 6'4" with a 6'6" wingspan.

I wouldn't consider a 7'4" wingspan to anything but great.

I'll say this though, I've come to accept that I apparently suffer from this same "T-Rex Syndrome" but I think a lot of it is just a matter of the majority of NBA guys being freakishly long as opposed to people like myself being freakishly short.
Standing at 6'3'' my wingspan is comparible to my height. Pretty normal. Upon having my maximum vertical jump measured (33.5'') I compared my number to the 2010 Draft Combine Athleticism results in that same category. I found my max vert jump was actually better than nearly half of the fifty listed prospects.
However, upon measuring my Max Jump Height (10'10'') I found I would have had the single lowest result of every listed draft prospect not named Sherron Collins. The average max vert. jump in the 2010 Draft Combine? 32.94''. The average max reach? 11'6.73''. My vert is right in the ballpark, my max reach is almost 9 inches below even the average.
For perspective, Avery Bradley, standing 6'3'' like myself, can reach 10'10'' off of a no-step vert, something I can't even pull off in my dreams. He has a max reach of 11'4'', an additional half foot on me.
Point: NBA players are terribly skilled; unbelievably skilled. However, most have also been blessed with undeniably advantageous dimensions. And more power to them, I just kind of wish I could at least palm a basketball.

Re: Who has the lowest arm-to height ratio in the NBA?
Luke Walton, Chase Budinger, Matt Bonner, Brian Scalabrine, Jason Smith are all pretty much 1:1.
David West's is a guy who has a much longer wingspan than I thought. 6'8'' with a 7'4.5'' wingspan. Jason Maxiell 6'5'', 7'3'' wingspan. Imagine if Jason was just 3 inches taller... would be a beast.

I always thought Corey Maggette had a really short arms for his height. Which would explain why he rarely ever dunked despite being very strong and athletic.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you, but I think Maggette's arms look shorter than they are just because of how bulky they are.
