I am 17 years old, just entered my senior year of high school, and today was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer with mets to the liver. I am starting chemo tomorrow, and am going to beat this thing, prayers would be appreciated!

wow bro.. i'm so very sorry. I think i can speak for the forum when i say you'll have our prayers our thoughts and best wishes for you in our hearts.
Keep us up to date, if you want to make other ways for posters to contact available you feel free to pm me any addys or links and i'll get them to whomever asks.. better than just a blind posting on the forum for the world to see.
i'll be praying for your recovery. i have a cousin who was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 21, he's 29 now and fairly healthy (for good hopefully) after years of chemotherapy

Droth, Im very sorry that you must experience these things at a young age. This experience will allow you to think more about things, and if you believe in God, get closer to him. Through the prayers and intercessions of St Mary, and all the saints, God's will shall be revealed.
My prayers and best wishes go your way droth. But you will overcome and you will be a stronger person because of it. Keep positive and fight through it. You always got us here to talk Lakers and take your mind off things.

Hey buddy, I certainly will be praying for you.
Know that all the great folks of this world went through some crazy level of adversity. Some may argue that they didn't succeed despite the adversity as they succeeded because of this adversity.
I can't wait till you get well and all these little petty stresses us regular people feel will be absolutely nothing for you.
Your body may be compromised a bit, but your mind is free, so use this time to read all you can and build your knowledge base and plan your future in whatever it is you want to master/be the best at for the rest of your life.
i pray that GOD will heal you completely. that you will be bless with a bigger faith in HIM as HE heals you in due time... in JESUS name i pray amen.....

I have had cancer around me in my family as I'm sure many of us can say the same.
I pray that you stay strong in your thoughts and courage.
I pray for your family. You can beat this brotha .. it will be a tough road.
Remember the brain is very powerful. It's starts up there and you have to try to stay positive.
