Default Kaka named Fifa 11 world cover athlete, instantly tears meniscus

Quote:
CONFIRMED: Real Madrid Star Kaka Out For Three To Four Months After Knee SurgeryReal Madrid have announced via the club’s official website that Brazilian star Kaka will be out of action for the next three to four months after having had knee surgery in Beglium.

The playmaker felt pain in his knee during his first pre-season training session with the club and was immediately flown to Beglium for surgery after being diagnosed with a torn meniscus. The Brazilian was operated on by Dr. Marc Martens, who has performed similar procedures numerous times in the past on other football stars.

This is right after FIFA 11 announces that he will the the one player that will be on all of their FIFA 11 games worldwide. Way faster than the Madden curse.

Every player gets hurt at some point.

The players they put on covers generally are ones who have just had a streak of health and success. In other words, a peak. So they are generally due for a valley anyway. IMO thats the reasoning behind most 'curses'

Rooney was the cover athlete last year and he got injured when his club needed him the most and couldn't perform well during the WC... eh? eh?

Rooney was the cover athlete 5 times, he also shared it last year with Lampard, Walcott. How did they do? How about the previous times Rooney was on the cover? Does the curse still works even though the injury was before the annoucement?

How bout Madden? Do we still need to go over the "curses" for that game?
