True. But being a homosexual isn't the same as a person being black and I hate it when people point to that. I consider being black, white, yellow, or whatever being similar to an animal having a different color/texture of fur. Inside it's the same animal and it would function the same way as any other animal. But being a homosexual is going against the reproductive tendencies of being a living being. I consider homosexuality to be just like any other genetic abnormality. People have to stop saying it's natural because it isn't. Now, the question is, should people be denied rights just because they are affected with this abnormality? I say no.

Nope. You can marry someone of the opposite sex whenever you want. There is no current right to marry man-man or woman-woman. So technically, they're not being denied a right.

TOUCHDOWN for the collective conscious and reason as a whole! Maybe now we can worry about more legitimate political issues.
"Marriage is legally only about property, citizenship, kinship and inheritance. The marriage license is an application for State and Federal benefits granted a specific class of people. All arguments about love, romance, reproduction, religious dogma, tradition and family values are PERSONAL BAGGAGE and cultural ignorance of the legal fiction called marriage.
Arguments that aren't about property, citizenship, kinship and inheritance are moot, leaving out most arguments against same sex marriage. Supporters and h8ters both need to learn what marriage ISN'T before trying to argue what it IS.
Denying US Citizens benefits granted others on the basis of their sexual orientation is unconstitutional. Denying gays benefits because they offend the sensibilities of bigots is no more valid than denying the bigots the same benefits because "I" am offended by them."

i see. prop 8 really showed how close minded people still are in society today, there really isn't any reason that 2 people shouldn't be able to marry.
