I'm a Kobe stan and I realize the hypocrisy of hating LeBron. I always have been annoyed by Kobe haters who never give Kobe credit for his positive contributions and only focus on the negative. Ex. 2010 Finals. Kobe was by far the best player in the series in games 1-6. If Gasol showed up in game 5 the series would have been over without the 6-24 fiasco. Haters completely ignore games 1-6 and focus on Kobe being bailed out by Gasol and Artest in game 7.
Yesterday I realized I was being a hypocrite. I was focusing on LeBron's terrible 1st three quarters and choke job in the last minute instead of giving him credit for his outstanding fourth quarter. Ray Allen bailed him out but LeBron put him in a position to bail him out. I'm done nitpicking.

As a Heat fan, I gotta say the irrational hatred of LeBron James has opened my eyes too. We compare everyone to the GOAT Jordan and it's not fair. This is a basketball game and it's 5v5, teammates are supposed to help your star.

As a result, I am also done hating on Kobe.
Jordan is the real reason why Kobe and LBJ are over-analyzed and nitpicked. The hate for both would decrease by 50% if Jordan never existed.
You are a classic example of the kindof poster he is talking about. I ddon't like kobe as a player but I don't take every chance I can get to irrationally shyte on him.

Jordan basically had the perfect, story-book career and it happened at a time when ESPN was rising to prominence and basketball was becoming a cultural phenomenon. I don't think people realize how crazy it is to compare one person's career to another's, and especially to Jordan's.

I don't hate based on nothing. My hate is entirely reational.
The Kobe hate however is just completely imaginary (weak rape charges, lies about the Shaq/Kobe situation, bullsh*t FMVP accusations)

the only people who compare Lebron to MJ right now, or has been, on this forum are lebron stans. Some even say he is better than MJ. They asked for it themselves, no one brought this upon lebron except for his fans.
