Just curious, why is AI always percieved to have so much "heart" and "passion" for the game? Is it because he's a little guy driving the paint and getting banged around? Cuz Gilbert does that too (albeit with more threes). What specific quality makes a guy like Iverson, who I'll remind you used to skip practice like we all reember, so passionate for the game? I just don't get it. I don't think "heart" or "passion" can be measured at all by fans. IMO, it's impossible to tell the difference between the majority of guys. There are obviously a few exceptions, like Curry, but I just don't see it.

Why though? What gives them more heart than Bruce Bowen, or Josh Childress, or Jameer Nelson?

how the f*ck can any of you even tell? IMO everyone who is in the NBA and succesful has "heart". Beyond that i don't know how you guys try to measure this. That sh!t annoyed me to no end during the Lakers/Sixers Finals series. Like AI was the only guy on the court with heart. Why? Cause he's little? To me, someone with heart would actually practice, but thats just me.
