Default Re: According to Hollinger power rankings, Clippers > Pistons, Raptors

Actually when I made this thread I hadnt noticed that the Raptors are 10-16??? I knew they started slow but I thought they were around .500, i didnt realize they were that far below it. I guess then its not that big of a surprise that the Clippers would be ahead of them, still it just seems weird to me based on the general perceptions of each team.

Hollinger < Dog Poop.

On the real, this is the first, and probably, only time Hollinger will give the Clippers any sort of respect.

yeah but Hollinger doesnt actually do the rankings himself. its a computer formula he made that basically takes a million factors into account and then computes power rankings. it takes things like strength of schedule, margin of victory, record in last 10, etc. and more into account.

the rankings it comes up with generally coincide with where teams actually are so its fairly accurate. right now it has the clippers above the pistons, which i just thought was interesting.

Honestly I think a 7 game series of the clips and pistons would probably go 7....

Or the fact that this is the 4th road game in 5 days, the night before went into double-OT, and the game before that was OT. Lack of energy and a lack of a bench due to injuries (Kaman/Taylor/Davis) is the reason.
