Default Denver now enters the tougest 6 game stretch of the season.

the nuggets are now heading into the toughest stretch of the season. here is how this 6 game stretch looks:
12/15 @ Dallas
12/16 @ Houston
12/19 vs Cleveland
12/20 @ Pheo
12/22 vs Portland
12/23 @ portland

how do you think they'll do? I believe they could go 5-1 and possibly 6-0

No way in hell are they going 6-0, I'd say 3-3 is more like it, if that. Out of all those games they are the favorite in 1, that being home vs Portland, all the rest they are 50-50 at best.

we can win every one of those games, but i don't think that's realistic. my predictions:

@ Dallas-Loss
@ Houston-Win
vs Cleveland-Win
@ Phoenix-Loss
vs Portland-Win
@ Portland-Loss

I say we go 3-3, but I think that game in Portland could easily be a win. I say 4-2 at best, 3-3 is a must.

I'd love to go 5-1, 6-0 is just not going to happen unless teams come out sluggish and we get a few surprise wins. Realistcly thinking I'd say 4-2 would be ideal but 3-3 is alot more likely as long as we win more than we loose.

Denver with Billups:

Against teams Below .500 : 11 - 0 ( 3 times Minnesotta, memphis, Charlotte, Golden state, Sacramento, Clippers, Chicago, Bucks, Raptors)
Against teams Above .500 (which includes unhealthy spurs, and dallas mavericks at a time below .500) 4 - 4

I am not sure on nuggets chances. But anything is possible.

yep, first real test stretch of the season starts tonight. the good sign is that we are beating the teams we should be beating.

The Nuggets are playing well, but not well enough to go 5-1 or 6-0. 4-2 should be what they're aiming for but 3-3 is more realistic. These are some good teams and most are away games. Here's how I see it playing out:

12/15 @ Dallas - L

Dallas has been playing well lately, I don't see them losing this one on their homecourt. It could go either way though.

12/16 @ Houston - W

Denver should win this one. Houston is banged up.

12/19 vs Cleveland - L

Cleveland has historically played well against the West. I'd expect the Cavs to win this one.

12/20 @ Pheo - W

The Suns just made a big trade and probably won't be quite used to things yet. Denver should win this one. Another tight one though, could go either way.

12/22 vs Portland - W

Portland is young, though they've played well. I don't see either team beating the other 2x in a row, so I'll pick the home team to win each.

12/23 @ portland - L

See above...

So, 3-3. Best case scenario is 4-2, worst case is 2-4 IMO. I don't see them beating Cleveland and I don't see them beating Portland twice. The rest can go either way.
