I still think the Laker bench is overrated. Trevor Ariza? Sasha Vujacic? And lets remember which unit brought the Blazers within eight against the Lakers? the bench...

East: Cleveland...a good mix of defenders and shooters.

Let's remember which bench won the game, the lakers.

Have you watched many Laker games? The bench is clearly the best out west. Maybe not by as many of us think, but the are the best

Which makes your post even worse

Acting like Trevor Ariza is a nothing player, he has been huge for L.A this season. A player every team would want. He should be in the running for 6th man of the year. He does everything on the floor. Lakers do have the best bench, you only have to see the impact they have on games and it's not just about the points.

portlands bench would be the 10th best team in the western conference in my opinion.

the lakers bench is strong, but they don't have a go to guy. lamar odom is not that player. they're solid but not as good/deep as portland.

utah needs to be included as well when they are healthy

West
Utah and LA are both very deep.

Phoenix isn't bad (Barbosa, Diaw, Hill, Lopez)
If Deke comes back, Houston has a great bench.

East
Detroit

I like Utah here for the West. Lakers do have a nice three-headed monster off the bench in AIRiza, Lamar and Farmar, along with a vastly overrated Sasha. Price-Korver-Kirilenko-Millsap is superior then the four I mentioned, then you got Knight as well. Kofous and Fesenko are big bodied 7 footers as well.

In the East, well I don't know. Detroit would probably be my pick.
