Default Would the Raptors be a good fit for Starbury?

They've got a huge hole at the 2 with Anthony Parker (decent, but not enough for a big time team) starting. I think having a slasher like Marbury would really take some of the scoring load of Bosh and increase their depth at the wings with Parker, Moon, Kapono/Bargnani coming off the bench.

I thinks it's worth a shot. Marbury can slash, can shoot and is good enough of a point guard to give Calderon a little rest without the Raptors completely crashing.
He can't play defense, but with Anthony Parker the Raps are used to that.

Why not throw a small one season contract his way?

I wouldn't want that cancer on the Raps. I'd rather suffer with Moon, Parker, Graham and Kapono.

A mentally-deficient 6'2 combo-guard ball-hog who can't really defend the SG, and is currently the most blatant team cancer in the NBA. What could go wrong?
