Default Your teams biggest/most hated rivals?

Teams or Players.

My team is them Houston Rockets. Over the years we've developed some intense rivalries. Let's start off with our most hated.

-Utah Jazz: Freakin' hate 'em. Since the early '90s with Hakeem and Stockton/Malone. We took them put in the playoffs on our way to the title in '94. They got us back in '97 and '98 (though they didn't win a title like we did.) It heated back up by the mid '00 with them taking us down in '07 and '08.

-Seattle Super Sonics: This begin' in the late '80s and went all the way to the late '90s. Most people believe if the Rockets met up with the Sonics in '94 and '895, they wouldn't have those two titles. Why? They beat us something like 30 straight times from the early '90s til about '94 or something like that.

-Phoenix Suns: Clutch City was born out of this rivalry. Twice in the playoffs ('94 and '95) they had us down 3-1, and we were labeled "Choke City" well, y'all know what happened. It came back on track in the early '00s with the battle of the young big's Amare/Yao and now Yao/Shaq. With the recent incident, it only looks to get better.

-Los Angles Lakers: Rivalry goes back to the mid '80 with the young twin towers upsetting the veteran Lakers in 5 game. By the time Yao was drafted, it was back in the battle of the big men. Shaq is gone, but McGrady and Kobe are keeping the battle alive.

-San Antonio Spurs: The earliest Rocket rivalry all the way back to the Hemisphere Arenas and the Summit. Gervin and Kenon vs. Murphy and Tomjonovich. It got some help throughout the '90s with Robinson and Olajuwon battling each other on a nightly bases (and in the playoffs ...) These teams still goo at it, as McGrady dropped 13 in 35 a few seasons back.

-Dallas Mavericks: This Texas rivalry budded in the earlier part of this decade and it's still goin' strong.

-New Orleans Hornets: The newest rivalry for Houston, and it will be a good one for the upcoming seasons.

My team: Nets

Knicks- not so much when Kidd was around... but after his departure, they have gotten tougher.. The NY-NJ rivalry will always be good but will only get better when the Nets will move to Brooklyn...

For me our biggest and mosted hated rival is utah. it all started with stocktons top of the key game winner in game 6 of the WCF in 96-97. never forget or forgive that.

Spurs. during our 2nd peat run, we lost the first two games at home to the spurs but went onto win that series larly thanks to olajuwon feeling ripped off by seeing his deserved MVP torophy handed out to the admiral.

The wall street croocks(mavs) because cuban is a arrogant bastard and there our state rivals. not to mention the refs screwed the rockets over in the 05 series.

Right now it is without a doubt the Celtics and Cavs and thats it.

If you go back a few seasons you can throw the Heat, Pacers and Nets in there, but since those teams are no longer competitive I don't consider them rivals currently.

Jazz. That's kind of really it. Lakers is a rivalry to some of us Nuggets fans but it's pretty one-sided because they always whoop us. Lakers fans probably take us as a joke these days when we face. I doubt they see it as a rivalry at all. We just hate that we can't beat them.

I believe in da C.E.L.T.I.C.Z.

Are biggest enemiez are ourselves, the jealous, mizerable beyatch inferior Laker fanz, and last and least the lowly Knickz.

Pacers to a smaller extent.

Historically, the rivals of the Pistons have been the Chicago Bulls.

Detroit is rivals with Chicago in all major sports.

Another rival to the Pistons, is the Celtics. This rivalry has been revived since last season.
