I have to say Kobe Bryant. He will nto be forgotten, but there will be kids who start saying rediculous stuff about another player who is half as talented as he is as that player beign better than Kobe. You guys all know what i'm talking about. Yeah the Kobe vs. MJ arguments.

Kobe wont be forgotten, but he will only be judged correctly afer he retires - as just another run-of-the-mill superstar. Not on Jordan's level. Not on Magic's or Bird's level. Not even on Shaq's level. More on KG's or Iverson's level. Hey, that's no insult.

This guy has already been forgotten for the player he was: Doug Christie. He's known because of his wife, not because he was an elite perimeter defender in his prime, class guy who gave 110% every night, and a versatile player who could play 1-3 positions effectively.

He was a role player. Who's gonna remember every decent role player in the league? The Bruce Bowens, the Eric McKie's ect.
