Also Lou Williams is actually considered a good player in the Eastern Conference Atlantic division. He probably will be good enough to carry the knicks to a playoff spot.

Lou Williams is actually a good nba player. If the Knicks are picking him up they must be trying to retool and make noise in the playoffs for next year.
KP is the key to this whole teams development.

I wonder whst noise they are going to make with a smaller Jamal Crawford.
Loaded frontcourt is what will take them far, not Lou.

Lou is on a manageable deal. 7 million for the next 2 years after this. He will be paid below his production and it's still a moveable asset if acquired. There is not much risk to get him. I would imagine there would be a decent amount of interest from a playoff team to get him. Although I wouldn't expect them to give up much for him.
