And so are LeBron's compared to all but literally a handful of players in history. This is where you'll always trip yourself up, you base every other player comparison completely upon their statistical output, like you literally just did here, yet you don't apply the same logic when it comes to comparisons with LeBron

With the secondary players, you can just compare stats - they're just filling a role
Whereas the top guys elevate a team to play greater and dictate brand of ball, so their individual stats aren't always the only thing to look at.
I was just thinking how you know - coaches aren't complete dummies.. they structure the offense based on what suits the best player and what the best player can handle.. No coach will take the ball out of Lebron's hands for the betterment of teammates or brand of ball because then Lebron's talent can't be maximized (he can't get the same stats off-ball)..
So since coaches must sacrifice ball movement and teammate/brand growth so Lebron is maximized/won't be wasted, the team underwhelms compared to what they should do.. There's no excuse for Lebron/Kyrie/Love not flirting with 70 wins like Kawhi and Curry did with equal or lesser casts... Ditto when Lebron was in Miami and only went 2/4 - he was literally the underdog every year with a superteam..
His style simply doesn't get the most of teammates or teams.. That's why other guys with better scoring versatility to fit with a more player types (not just shooters) and have a better brand (ball movement over a 1-ball-dominator approach) would do better with Lebron's teams than he did..

The fact that Kyrie/Love have much better stats than Pippen/Miller simply means that they're better better relative to their competition than Pippen/Miller were.
So they have bigger advantage over the comp they face than Pippen/Miller did over the 90's comp, and therefore help Lebron more than Pippen/Miller would help whoever was their #1 option
I can't help that Pippen/Miller look like the better players - the entire 90's had better players... ... But the reality is that Pippen/Miller did worse against their comp then Kyrie/Love do against theirs (worse stats), and therefore are less help than Kyrie/Love provide in today's era

Yeah ok dude. Reggie Miller did pretty well leading a team. Scottie pip did pretty well leading a team. How has it gone for love leading a team? How has it gone for Kyrie leading a team?
There isn't a gm in the history of the NBA that would take Kyrie and love over Reggie and pip.

Second round pick for a reason...
once again..yall dismiss iggy and bogut. on top of klay chef and the role players.
Dray on ANY other team would be a washout, potentially malcontent role player with nowhere near the accolades he currently holds.

Why? He dominates games. They have others that can score though he's had two big games in a row scoring wise.

He talked a big game, but knew his actual worth and was smart to take that max extension when he could. The warriors are certainly cringing at even giving him that amount now.

The textbook definition of a system player. Without star players surrounding him he's useless
