Would anything less than 59 wins and a WCF birth be a disappointment For the Heat/Wad
Based on the opinion of posters on this Forum (the opinion that Wade is better than Pippen), if Pippen at 34 years old can lead the 00 Blazers to the WCF and 59 wins. I expect 34 year old Wade to do the same. On paper this years Heat have just as much talent if not more. Deng, Dragic, Bosh, McRoberts, Whiteside, And Chalmers are every bit as good as Steve Smith, Rasheed Wallace, Arvydas Sabonis, Damon Stoudemire, and Greg Anthony.

The Magic are a trash

Anything less than an ecf matchup with the Cavaliers is a failure for the heat this year

ruckus for president

hard to get to the WCF in the eastern conference tbh
seriously, that heat team looks good on paper, but they are soft as charmin and injuries will rape that team bigtime because all their players are very injury prone, so one-two injuries can create a snowballing effect rather easily. Realistically, I wouldn't be surprised if they miss the playoffs. Vegas is making a lot money on the heat, because people bet on talent and not on the actual team.

First of all, Pippen didn't "lead" shit in 2000. He was a role player type contributor, on a team that went to conference finals the year BEFORE he was traded there. This revisionist history is hilarious.
But yes, the Heat should have the expectations of being a far more formidable team than they were last year.

Funny. Then you'll be in another thread saying Pippen couldn't lead the Trailblazers so he no good

Re: Would anything less than 59 wins and a WCF birth be a disappointment For the Heat/Wad
how can you expect this team to miss the playoffs?
2nd best team in the East for sure.

No I won't. Because I'm not some agenda driven idiot like you, sir.

ECF or bust for the Heat...if fully healthy.
but that still doesn't change the fact that Wade is a tier above Pippen. At the end of the day, Wade was a franchise player (somewhat still is), that's something Pippen never was.

You have a very loose definition of the word 'lead'. And the Blazers made the WCF without Pip the season before. You'd have a point if a Wade-less Heat had made the ECF last year... otherwise your premise makes no sense.

A 12.5PPG scorer led his team to a conference finals.

You are incredible. How many times have you used 00 against Pippen by saying he couldn't lead them. Looks like imma have to go back and expose some of these clowns.

Their the 4th oldest team in the league and have been very injury prone. Injuries were a big part of them not making it last season, along with losing James.
So no, it's not a sure bet they'll be the 2nd best team in the East "for sure".

If Wade "led" the Heat to 59 wins averaging 13/6/5, he'd get absolutely destroyed on here

Embiid > Jokic

Not even Jordan was able to lead his team to the WCF, that's a tall order for a player past his prime like Wade
