LeBron Just Gave Future Superstars A New Blueprint
Leave the team that drafts you to form a hand-picked super team as you hit your prime, rack up some easy rings, then when it looks like you might have to actually put in work to win... go back to your original team like nothing happened.
Bonus if your original team is showered with #1 picks.
Will this be the new normal from now on?

Yes. It showed future superstars that if your front office is not doing its work then take control of your future. If you like money then go get money. If you like rings then go to a team that would actually try to win one.
No future player will thank MJ but will thank Kobe and lebron. Kobe forced Lakers to put a good team around him or else he was gone. Both great players

Heat fans are finally figuring it out...
LeBron played this perfectly FROM THE BEGINNING. He forced 2 stars to bend to his will, got all the credit for a couple of championships even though without their talent he doesn't come near them, made his only competitor (at the time that he joined) be his Robin and turned his home team against him, and now he goes home to continue to get all the glory. He basically used Miami as a buffering period while his real team rebuilt.

What team are you referring to?
2005
2006
2007
These were all peak years wasted on dismal teams.

I actually liked that move by Kobe. Why are you mad?

If the Cavs had drafted Al Jefferson and didn't get duped by Carlos Boozer, they wouldn't have been in that position in the first place. They made their bed. LBJ made them pay for it.

If the Heat were a super team I am sure LeBron would have stayed.
Go back to shining shoes at the airport, boy.

Knicks all da way
Re: LeBron Just Gave Future Superstars A New Blueprint
Bran pulled a Ted Moseby in the series finale. Couldn't be with Robin (Cavs) because she couldn't give him kids (rings). Went the easy route (Heat) and got kids. And then on his way down, killed his wife off (Heat) and teamed back up with Robin (Cavs). Sorry for spoiling, if anyone's watching that show.

Re: LeBron Just Gave Future Superstars A New Blueprint
If I were a sought-after player, I would sign for the clear #1 team for a few millions, win two or three rings, then ask for max money next. Doesn't matter which team as long as I get max.
This way, I will already have multiple rings and get max money while still in my prime.
Much, much better than guys like Malone, Payton, Barkley, etc. chasing rings in their late 30s and washed-up. Get it over quickly and early in your career is the better move.

That only works if its a place they like to live. Nobody is going back to Minnesota, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Canada, detroit, oklahoma, etc unless you are from there or always wanted to live there.

This f*aggot disappears after 'his team' gets waxed in the finals (as everyone and their grandmother expected) only to pop up once his man crush jumps ship yet again.
You buy that Cavs jersey yet?

Why does nobody want to be Malone, Ewing, Reggie, or Barkley? I hate when people say that.
So if they joined together and beat Michael Jordan people would respect them more? I doubt it. Those guys all became great men and are highly respected. I respect Lebron for going back to Cleveland but don't try to defend what he did 4 years ago. Even Lebron admits he made mistakes back then.
