Paul Pierce is the man and one of my fav players all time. Yes there is a separation from him compared to Kobe/LeBron. However, i think it also shows how good he has been in his ability to competed over the years with the 2 elite wings of his era. The main difference between Pierce and Bron/Kobe imo is he was never the explosive type of scorer but was consistent. You knew every night in his prime he was gonna give you 23-26/6/4. just to show what type of consistency he had i remember a few years prior to the big 3 where he never was the only player to not score under 15 points that season.
Top 50 easy. You could probably argue him down to top 40 or 30, but after that it is a stretch. He's in that 2nd tier with guys like Mourning (compared to Shaq), Ewing (compared to Hakeem) and Drexler (compared to Jordan). Pierce is basically in that second category compared to Kobe and LeBron.
Whether he's in the top 50 or 60, there have been thousands of total players in the NBA & ABA. You guys are probably arguing whether he's in the top 0.5% or 1% of all time amongst the best of the best. At his best there's no one he couldn't outplay in a game. He's made the ASG 10 times and won a ring. Will be in the Hall of Fame. It's been an awesome career regardless.
Love his game. High IQ and still capable of having huge games, but he doesn't have the resume of Kobe and Lebron and was never on their level of impact.

Exactly. Player rankings are kind of silly anyway, but the differences we are talking about are marginal at this level. You could probably reorder all of the players between 60 and 30 in any combination and still have a pretty reliable all-time list.
