How do you guys deal with it? stop drinking? Go recluse? Brush it off and chalk it up to one of those epic nights?

I did once. I apologized the next morn.
I stopped drinking after that day and thought I was done permanently, but I drank again during ECF game 3 at my friend's house.

If your friends like to party then I usually chalk it up to an epic night of idiocy and fun. If you're with people who are more of the "oh my god what the **** is he doing" ilk then you may need to pick up the pieces and throw out a couple apologies.
