Default Cody Zeller makes NBA All-Rookie Second Team

The NBA announced today that Charlotte Hornets forward Cody Zeller has been selected to the All-Rookie Second Team. Zeller received three first team votes and 61 second team votes from a panel of 125 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada who were asked to select five players for the first team and five players for the second team, regardless of position. Two points were awarded for first team votes and one for second team votes.

Zeller played in all 82 games as a rookie in 2013-14, averaging 6.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 17.3 minutes. He ranked sixth among NBA rookies in field goal percentage (.426), tied for sixth in rebounding, seventh in free-throw percentage (.730), tied for 13th in scoring and 16th in assists. Zeller was the only Charlotte player to play in all 82 games and one of only two rookies in the NBA to do so. Over the season

We'd better keep him. But, sigh, it wouldn't surprise me if we don't.
