Really though lol. It may not be the highest value you can get for Shump, but it's getting rid of a player who has a log jam at his position and filling a glaring hole/need for the Knicks. If you think this can't bring positives, you haven't watched Knicks basketball this year.

People really think Shumpert has more value than Faried?

Yeah. Not saying he is more valuable but people see a 23 year old perimeter player with above average defense and an alright jumpshot and they jump all over it. Faried is an offensively challenged big man with a large motor, potential double/double guy. Good for the Knicks, would fit right in imo but Shump's an attractive prospect. Shop him around and I'm sure more talented/better players than Faried become available.
