The interesting thing is how Kevin Love has been unceasingly attacked on this board for his 'empty stats'.

Yet Carmelo Anthony's Knicks were much worse than the Timberwolves and he gets a pass?

Granted Anthony has been to the playoffs - but not last year - his teams have consistently been better than the Wolves especially when you consider injuries.

When Coach Karl is calling Anthony out, he is a big fat fail. And when he then proceeded to deliberately dump on Linsanity, he lost any consideration as a great player. Great players do not do those kinds of things.

A lot of the time it can depend on what u need when judging a perimeter player vs. a big man. Even though Melo plays some PF, he's a pure SF frankly. And in terms of SF's he's among the best scorers and rebounders. I'm talking like in the top two or three for each category. Love is great at scoring, boards, and passing. I think I would roll with Melo in this one, but as I said earlier it really comes down to what u need. Both are among the top eight players in the world.

Love is THE best Scorer and rebounder at PF, though, for True PFs. Maybe the best passer as well?

And definitely the best volume 3pt shooter, maybe someone like Ryan Anderson is better but he's not as dangerous as Love.
