Lil Wayne & Jay Z are
Lil Wayne is pure garbage. I'd rather be deaf for the rest of my life than listen to this piece of shit human. His lyrics, rhymes, hair, tattoos, teeth and everything other thing you can think about him are shit. He sounds super stoned whenever he raps. Don't know why he even has fans
And Jay Z. He's a good rapper, just not "great" like most fans say he is.

2Pac and Eminem. Not to say they aren't good. But people act like 2Pac was from the future or some shit, and Eminem has been shit for the last 10 or so years IMO

Re: Is Nas The Most OVERRATED Rapper Ever?
How is Nas the most overrated over someone like Jay-Z for example?
No one talks about Nas anymore, nor hypes him up. Jay-Z on the other hand is still around and people still talk about him like he's decent. Dude wrecks just about every song he's on these days. He ruined "Drunk in Love" with his shit verse.

I don't think i've ever heard anyone in my life say he is overrated till now. If you want to know who's overrated its Tupac or Jay-Z

2Pac? He never straight up ruined songs like Jay.

Re: Is Nas The Most OVERRATED Rapper Ever?
no he didn't, but so many consider Tupac the G.O.A.T and from what I've heard I would readily disagree, he is not on the lyrical level as many other rappers. But saying that I still like tupac haha, just not in my top 5.

He may not be GOAT based on lyrical level, but his impact and the mark on the industry alone makes him a prime candidate. When you look at his legacy and everyone he influenced, it's hard to deny.

Well, it would depend what you mean by "lyrical". I hear it frequently used to describe nonsensical rambling about nothing but some idiot is like "OMG, dat's fcukin' brilliant yo because he rhymed 2 syllables at the end of the bar an a mid-bar rhyme to. Dat's so sick yo". I'm usually like "really? You think that's brilliant? That idiot rapping about ice cream cones and a bad bitch with a nice ring tone? That's fcuking stupid".

hahah, that sounds like something lil wayne would rap about.
but i'll give you an example of what i mean:
"Timeless, so age don't count in the booth
When your flow stay submerged in the fountain of youth" - Rakim
it's got more meaning than just booth rhyming with youth

Even when Em was a feature artist, he outshined all the main rappers. Dead Wrong (Biggie), Forgot About Dre(Dr. Dre), Patiently Waiting(50 Cent), Renegade (Jay-Z)....
Em outperformed all of those dudes! That's how great Em's peak was.
One guy who is definitely overrated is Jay-Z. Which years did he rule the rap world? How many of his albums are considered Top 10 All-time?
Exactly. Would you not consider Reasonable Doubt to be a top 10 album? and can I ask you what your top 5/10 albums are?
