Was looking forward to him having a role on the team. Hopefully the injury doesn't nag on him this season. Out guard spot is thinning.

This sounds more like a surgery where they went in to clean some stuff out or strengthen something that was nagging. 6 weeks really isn't that long. It will mean that he'll be missing some training camp time though, which is not good for a player on a new team. I guess looking on the bright side, at least it's not a Shumpert long term situation.

8 weeks til start of season so it won't set us back cus he's here for defense, so chemistry shudnt be an issue

he'll be ready opening night he'll be out 3 full weeks according to Hahn and then rehab for 1.5 to 2.5 weeks still gives him some training camp and maybe a pre-season game or 2

The swelling must have been kinda serious though.

From what I read, it took two weeks to get the surgery under way from when the injury actually occurred.

But 6 weeks isn't bad, wish he could participate in the training camp though.

Yea. It kinda sucks to see guys that work and play hard go down to injury.
