Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Seton Hall twice.
Should be 4-2 at least.

Oh yeah. 4-2 is respectable. I see where Slick Rick Pitino is crying about the schedule of his Louisville Cardinals. He is upset because they play Pittsburgh twice.

Holy Crap!! If JL plays like he did against Lithuania, in which he dropped 35 pts , we are going to be ok for next season. He is shooting 47% from the field and 46% from three point land. He is also leading the team in scoring 16.8 a game. Not bad, young fella. Not bad.

Deep tournament run again this year.
Bazz/Boat
Lamb/Giffey
DeAndre/Giffey
Roscoe/Olander
Oriakhi/Bradley/Wolf
I read a few people with knowledge on DD that he might make a Melo type impact his freshamn year. If that were to happen, fine by me.

Yeah. I was reading about some of the expectations of the Huskies over on scout.com. DeAndre could be something special. He has the ability to shoot the 3. He has speed. The ability to play 2 positions. Yeah, DeAndre could be something special.

Re: Connecticut Huskies fan thread
Lamb is as good as gone. Read a quote from an article, basically saying he wanted to make the jump but Calhoun advised him to stay one more year. Right decision, but kind of stinks if it went that way. Imagine this in 2012...
Shabazz (Jr.)
Lamb (Jr.)
Daniels (So.)
Oriakhi (Sr.)
Drummond (Fr.)
Talk about a starting 5. Also Calhoun, Boat, Smith, Giffey, etc. off the bench. a team like that has the potential to go 10 deep, all with talent.

Dang!! I hope Lamb stays until he is a senior. I know that is a bit selfish but UConn would be beast for 2-3 more years. We would run the Big East and make some serious noise in the NCAAs. But if he jumps to the NBA I wish him well.

Latest news on Andre Drummond. According to the bleacher report, Andre is not planning on attending UConn this Fall. Instead, Andre will be heading off to grad school at St. Thomas Moore. This is going to be interesting.

Man, CBS has this sports channel on Comcast 734, and they are showing the whole NCAA Tournament. Right now, they are showing the Arizona/UConn game. Arizona started off on fire! The first 4-6 minutes of the game and they were all over the boards, hitting shots left and right, and they had the boys looking pretty outmatched. This is why I say that this title is so special and that this was coach Calhoun's best coaching job ever. Plus having Kemba does not hurt either.
UConn!!!!

Shabazz has been selected to compete at the 2011 USA Basketball Men's World University Games this weekend, July 29-August 7. Alex Oriakhi withdrew, dang! Man we could have had two UConn players on that squad. Oh well. One is better than none. Good luck, Shabazz.

Andre Drummond is not heading to UConn this year, but he has us on his list of schools for 2012. Good luck, Andre with your plans this year. Hopefully you can join us next year.
