It's a valid point.
Cleveland have won jackshit and will continue to do so because of the underachieving mentality of the city.
Suddenly they are world beaters after 10 games and irving/love have never sniffed a playoffs game
We all know lebron is allergic to adversity. He will run if he gets the feeling the team cannot win it all.

Start rooting for the Spurs my man. That 2/6 will make the 4-1 hurt way less.

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
Yeah we're going nowhere with this team. The defence has plummeted and become so porous I can't even believe Thibs is there. We seem to be allergic to 50/50 balls too. Pau and Dunleavy drop the ball so often you'd think it was actually hot. Having Noah chase power forwards is not working whatsoever. I don't see anything that would fix us quick either. Even our wins have been pretty shotty save for the NY win.

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
Baring injuries, the Bulls are still a dangerous team that can beat up anyone in the East. They lose one game to a poor team at the front half of the season and all of sudden they lose their edge? No dice...

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
I think Bulls are lock for ECF. They are just so well coached, well built, and they have some core for so long and they added some really good players who fit great into their mentality. Even if Rose is out, i don't think any team has the depth to deal with them, especially in terms of frontline rotation. With Rose they could win it all, but without him, it's not so possible because they need that superstar who will take over when they need it.

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
I'm not even going to defend Rose. You're probably right, he'll probably miss half the season due to minor injuries.
But even without Rose, this team is much better than last season. How could you not see that? They've added Aaron Brooks, Pau Gasol, Doug McDermott and Mirotic. Noah will hopefully improve on that awesome season he had last year and Jimmy Butler will hopefully develop into an All-Star player this season.
Now, if Rose does get past these minor injuries and manages to stay healthy throughout the rest of the season then it's a whole different story and this Bulls team will be contenders for sure.

Bran only likes it when his team is so good they could make the finals without him. That superstar

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
It's still early as hell. If the Bulls don't scare people, then that's good. Being underestimated is a good thing. But let's be real, there's not an NBA team out there that takes it easy against the Bulls or doesn't respect what they can do.

Re: The Bulls aren't a scary team
If Rose is missing large chunks of the season, it's going to hurt the Bulls even if he's healthy for the playoffs. I'm a big believer in team chemistry and one of the best parts about the long regular season is that it allows the elite teams to build the rapport and trust to play their best as a whole. If Rose is not healthy, the Bulls might not make it out of the second round, despite adding Gasol and others. If he's healthy and plays most of the regular season and the playoffs they are probably the favorites in the Leastern Conference, Cavs notwithstanding. Given OKC's apparent demise, I think they'd have a good chance of any West team, except possibly the Spurs.
