    Default In five finals

Lebron has never averaged 30 pts or more. He shot over 50% on his fifth try.

In one final at the tender age of 23, Durant averaged 30.6 on 54.8% shooting (Harden and Brooks had a poor series).

In 9 finals, West averaged 30.5.

In Six finals, Jordan averaged 33.6, a finals MVP and a championship.

Irrelevant stat. Durant got outplayed by LeBron badly in that series. Larry bird never averaged over 30 for a finals, either...guess he's not that good

I never said Lebron wasn't that good. This is purely in response to comparing Lebron to MJ in the finals, and denigrating Durant's first finals performance as a 23 year old. Not that many people have averaged 30 in a finals. Even fewer have done it shooting over 50%. Durant is one of the few, the proud, the soon to win a title.

no1 is guaranteed a title no matter how good you are

Next season, when OKC is healthy and Durant might be in his last year as a Thunder, they're going to be hard to beat.

This year is too much to ask, but a first round upset is reasonable.
