Really one of the silliest gimmicks in all of sports
Started with A.I. and the tore sock to cover up his vulgar tatoos and now these clowns are wearing Barry Bonds roided elbow pads....which has also turned into....
calf pads/teflon vests/shoulder patches/under armor quad pads all colorway matched geared up

This couldn't be further from the truth. What Kobe tried to do, is make it his own by wearing the sleeves on his legs but everyone copied off of Allen Iverson which it started out with a tore sock wore from his bicep muscle to his wrist area.

I wore a calf sleeve after straining my calf. I did take a couple of weeks off first, though.
It didn't feel uncomfortable, and I believe it could help prevent injuries, but I wouldn't want to wear that full-time. Especially on my shooting arm.
