Re: 95-96 bulls was the best team ever?
2017 Warriors are my GOAT pick. Maybe 2019 Warriors, depending how they play with Cousins in the playoffs.
I always had the '86 Celtics as my GOAT team before Durant joined GS, that team had everything, superstar talent in Bird, one of the best 2nd options ever in McHale who was in his prime, solid guard play with DJ-Ainge, and they had a center combo of Parish-Walton, (An All-Star and 6MOY). That team had insane size, along with all the weapons they also had the #1 defense.
The Durant-Curry Warriors have insane talent though, if we look at their 2017 team in particular, you are pretty much talking about a team with two superstars (Durant/Curry), an All-Star and one of the greatest shooters ever who can drop 30 on you on a good night (Klay), a DPOY in Draymond, and one of the best reserves in the league in Iggy. Along with the insane talent they displayed great chemistry and elite defensive play.
They pretty much surpassed the '86 Celtics in talent which was something I thought wasn't possible and showed they can play well together with all that talent. I have the '96 Bulls #3 on my list behind Boston and Golden State.

And so on the Bulls lack of 3 point shooting would be there downfall
Imagine a Pippen,Longley,Rodman front court in todays era?
Worst spacing ever how is MJ going to score with a clogged up paint the entire game
He'll no but nice try
96Mj>kd-getting good stats in the easiest era ever to score and jumping on a winning bandwagon dosnt make him better than 96 mj.
Rodman>Klay-rodman was one the best rebounders and defenders ever. Klays not one of the best anything. Getting crazy hot from three point line once in awhile doesn't make him better than rodman.
Pippen=curry-regular season and in general curry is better. In the playoffs and especially the finals pip is just as good as curry. Curry's 6 points more a game doesn't make up for pip being way more impactful on the defensive end.
Dray>kuc
Iggy>harper
And the paint in mj's era was way more clogged and you could actually play defence. He'd have a field day with the open lanes and non physical defence In this era

Imagine actually believing this.
And I'm taking Klay over Rodman, Rodman by '96 had lost his defensive versatility, he was strictly a PF and an offensive liability.

It's the 2017 Warriors. The only team that I think could really trouble them would be the '01 playoff Lakers imo. Any team without a peak Shaq-like inside force just isn't beating them.

Bulls have better defensive talent.

Rodman was still a very good defender. He was a better rebounder and defender than capela and wasn't much more of an offensive liability. Rodmans energy, hustle and mentality was also a huge factor. Klay is extremely one dimensional. When he's not hitting threes he dosnt contribute much. Your thinking purely offensive on that one but rodman has more impact on a game than Klay.
And I said curry is better than pip but in that series in a finals pip has just as much impact as curry does. Currys impact in the finals isnt consistent and he has often been outplayed by numerous players on both teams historically.
That rockets team was no where near mj's bulls team and they had warriors beat. They didn't do it with threes they did it with defence. Bulls are much better defensively

that bulls team had it all. goat coaching, defense, rebounding, an elite offensive system built around cohesion, mike to put them over the top. their only real weakness was inside offense. you could say three point shooting too if you're comparing to today's teams, but they did have kerr & kukoc going on hot runs off the bench. their three point shooting was average for that era.
pop's spurs or bird's celtics would give them more trouble than the warriors would imo. even kobe & shaq's lakers. the dubs do have that crazy burst style offensive firepower (more so than the bulls or celts), but they especially lack in defense, rebounding and arguably cohesion and coaching. like i said it's their burst style firepower that makes them great. i'd put them in the second tier of atg teams personally.

You are forgetting that Klay is probably the best 3 and D player of all time. I've seen him frustrate the hell out of guys like Kyrie & Harden, his defense is highly regarded. To call Klay one dimensional is just wrong. I'm not sure I would take '96 Rodman over 2017 Draymond, considering Draymond was pretty much better than Rodman at every aspect except rebounding.
Lol at using Rodman's mentality as a plus, this is a guy throughout his career that had moments where he just didn't give a shit about playing, during the '97 postseason Phil Jackson benched him a few times because of his inconsistencies, he would go to Vegas after a Finals game and get drunk instead of focusing on the game. Rodman was a huge mental midget after his Detroit years, but some people don't know because they were not watching the league around this time.

No they don't. The '17 Warriors were an awesome defensive team with some of the best defenders in the league, including the DPOY.

What about 2012 Heat and 2014 Spurs? I've never seen a better passing team than that 2014 Playoff Spurs team.

Both great teams but just not in the class of the 96 Bulls, 17 Warriors, 01 playoff Lakers, etc. I love that Spurs team and they're a strong championship team but I think that playoff run was way more about them catching fire at the absolute perfect moment against a Heat team on its last legs, than them actually being a GOAT-level team. They also got taken to 7 by a decent but nothing special Mavs team in the first round, and beat an OKC team missing Ibaka for 2 games (they blew out OKC in both those games, went 2-2 in games Ibaka played).

I personally consider the 92 bulls better. Due to age I Think they would match better against the warriors over the 96 version.

I disagree. Klay is one dimensional. He is a solid defender for sure but not a great or really good one. He may be the best three point shooting defender but not many three point specialist were good defenders. If you compare him to other 2 gaurd scorers/defenders then he's way down the list. Most great players are great at at least 2 things. Klay is only great at shooting threes.
And yeah rodman was alot to deal with but Phil knew how to do it. Rodman would absolutely get in people's heads and bother them. He was alot like green that way except rodman actually had more self control than green as hard as that is to believe. Rodman would totally take green out of the game physically and mentally.
