Default Dieng is the best value contract in the NBA

Only counting contracts signed this offseason or latter.

He makes the same or less than

    Mozgov
    Mahimi
    Biyombo
Adams ain't worth 9 million more than Dieng

    It's a moronic contract.
64m for a backup centre, when they could have signed great FA with the space and used his small cap hold to their advantage, then re-signed him.

And Adams is a much better player, worth more than his contract. Would have got max offers.

Pekovic contract was once considered good too.

    No it wasn't

Minnesota fans hated it from the beginning

Minny fans hated "he was coming off a very productive 2012-13 season in which he led the Wolves in Player Efficiency Rating (20.2) while averaging 16.3 points and 8.8 rebounds."?

The price tag is fine, if he continues the same level of play.
It's the timing which made no sense.

Yes, the fans still hated it. We gave him a 5 year deal with a terrible injury history while competing against no one.

The smart thing would have been to let him go to RFA and match anything. The 5th year was the dumbest thing ever.

    I said value contract.

He is WAY better than the other players I listed that signed for the same price.
