    This thread is quite old, but I guess the OP's mind remains frozen in time.

    If there was an individual basketball ranking, tennis-style, there would probably be no woman inside the global Top-10,000. Only Brittney Griner would be kind of interesting to see where she'd rank, if she's a normal woman, that is.

    When I went to Ohio state Katie Smith (WNBA champ, gold medalist) used to come to Larkins rec center to hoop. She was probably in here prime then and wouldn't have made the practice team....hell, the football players had intramural squads she wouldnt get much burn on.
