The team has 3 young All-Stars close to their prime and the current back to back MVP.
Former MVP Durant, joining forces with 2 time MVP and current scoring Champ.
That would be 3 straight MVP awards between both.
So how much credit would you give him?

It'd be huge.
Warriors didn't win the championship in 2015... they faced zero healthy teams.
If he goes to the Warriors he would automatically be the number 1 scoring option, closer, and leader
Warriors haven't proven they can win a legit title. If Durant goes there and leads them to 1, how would that not be a major accomplishment?

He certainly wouldn't get full "championship option number 1" credit, but it's not like it would hurt him if he went to the Warriors and put up;
25/7/3 65% TS while continuing to play his intense defense he did in the playoffs this season.
But it's not doing a lot for his legacy just joining up with a 73 win team and winning it all.
In order for "winning" to move the needle for Durant's legacy...if he joins the Warriors....it would have to be a 3 peat or like 4 titles in 5 years...with some legendary performances.
People comparing it to Miami...just no. The Warriors have an established team and have already had incredible back to back years without Durant.
