    Default Most Emotional NBA Exit?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Cq8OS7lexQ

    Damn onions.

It's hard to imagine how the crowd would react once Bryant, Duncan, or Nowitzki plays their last game, especially if it's on their home floor.

Michael Jordan's Last game in the NBA

Being cheered on opposing team's home court, nothing can top that. Respect! GOAT!

The whole second half to that season was a farewell tour for MJ. I saw him play his last game in Cleveland the week before he ended his career in Philly.

He got a standing ovation during introductions and as he walked off of the floor (scored 26 points also, fyi).

I'm proud to be able to say I saw him play during that farewell tour. Funny thing was, he was still far and away the best player on the floor.

John Stockton got a standing ovation for his last game, and it was on the road as well.

Reggie's really hit me. They were favorites that year, briefly, before the brawl. Like always with Carlisle teams, they hung tough and fought it out.

There was a bit of Reggie magic late in the 4th. He hit two threes (his final two NBA shots, I believe) but it wasn't enough to make a run.

Reggie standing there, hands on his waist then knees. In a world all to himself, staring blankly accepting the loss and then accepting that that was it for him.

Larry Brown calling a Pistons timeout for Reggie and the Pacers fans was the most moving display of sportsmanship I've ever seen.

an exit is only momentous when a player has toiled his entire career with that team

when bran retires, not one f@ck will be given

Reggie Miller's last game against Detroit was not only memorable for the NBA but sports in general. Great sendoff.

I got pretty emotional at the end of Game 7 Heat Celtics in 2012. When Doc Rivers took out the Big 3, I damn near cried because I didn't know if KG and Pierce or Allen were gonna retire, if they we're gonna go to different teams or what? You just kinda knew the Big 3 era was over right there.

I was sad when Shaq retired. He was the most entertaining player in the league. I have so many memorable/funny moments of him even in his limited time with the Suns. He always had me cracking up. On top of that, he was one of the first NBA players that I can remember way back to when I was little. I knew about Shaq almost my whole life(I was born in 1989) way before I was into basketball. I even loved his movie Kazam when I was a little kid.

Also Nash's era with the Suns ending was extremely sad until we found he went to the Lakers then it was hurtful because he acted like he would never join them because they were his rivals for so long and he knew that the rivalry between Suns and Lakers fans in Phoenix was a big deal(cause there's so many people in Phoenix that moved here from LA) so it felt like a slap in the face to see him go to the Lakers basically joining the enemy. Ultimately it ended up benefiting the Suns and hurting the Lakers though so it's all good now, I forgive him.
