Kareem, the all time leading scorer, has a career high of "just" 55 points.

Another fun fact the three you have mentioned, despite not scoring they managed to either reach the Conference final, reach the final or win it all.

One thing Chris Paul never did his entire career

Be that as it may, he's an outstanding playoff performer. 21/9/5, 2.3 spg, 58%TS, and a 26 PER. Better than a 3/1 assist to turnover ratio. Always solid defensively. You can't ask for much better PG play than that.

Is he capable of scoring more than 21 ppg if his team needs him to? Or you think he is limited to be a 17-19 ppg and 10+ apg guy?

He is a second tier superstar, I don't wanna hear people call him goat tier PG because he isn't.

I don't all the way disagree with this. I think CP3 is definitely capable of averaging 24 ppg or so and 6-7 assists if he wanted too, mind you with his efficiency dropping somewhat. But the reality is that he plays with another superstar in Blake Griffin and 22.5 points per game on 51/46/75 (FT% poor) with 2.5 steals like CP3 did in the 2014 series against OKC is probably better than those aforementioned stats. He also balled out of control when he beat the Spurs last year.

I do, however, do think CP3 is somewhat lacking in the "overwhelm your opponent through relentless scoring bursts" department because he can't shoot like Curry and he isn't the world class athlete that Westbrook is. Still, CP3 is rarely the reason his teams have lost. If being a top 30 or so player ever is "a second tier superstar," than yeah.

So you're telling me a pass-first PG doesn't score as much as a shoot-first PG? Wow, great insight.

yeah but chris paul positively impacts the whole game for his team, often when a single player scores 50 points or more the team barely wins.
