Re: 2013 Offseason
I'm no fan of Terry either but he has heart and has hit numerous clutch shots in his career. He's also a great 3pt shooter so I'll take what we can get at this point.
And I agree on getting ahead of ourselves. We saw how the Lakers did last season after their fans overreacted before the season started. If we played as bad as them last season, that be my worst nightmare. But the difference between the Lakers last season and us this season is we don't have any divas on this team, closest is Deron with his coach killer rep but with Kidd and KG here I doubt he'll act up.

Re: 2013 Offseason
Actually the dilemma can be well resolved if Kidd comes out of his retirement and plays Deron's backup. Kidd can still play, while as a coach this team may be too much for him. Too bad he did not retire a net, but we can provide him with a chance like this. Then reach out to Jerry Sloan and we have a pretty much guaranteed ECF appearance.

So many changes to the roster, really glad Blatche resigned. Good pickup with AK-47!

Dwill 38%, JJ was 37% Tele shot 34 % last year but never really got to showcase him self, he started to show off his range at the end of the season.
3 pt shooting wont be a problem next year, definitely not a concern.
Our whole starting line up can hit a jump shot.

Well is there a way to flip Telotovic for a better player? Its horrifying that hes earning more than Kirilenko.

Also D-Will broke the Nets all time record in 3's in a season last year. I think we'll be alright. The only real thing I'm worried about is what system Coach Kidd is running.

re: three,
so we're good but not -very- good at threes. it may be a problem or it may not be a problem down the road, depending. we may improve that by february or not, depending. that seems all there is to say. just reality.
re: kidd,
i assume he'll run a halfcourt, very pass-happy, pick-and-roll flavor for the starters and try to have the reserves do the uptempo stuff he actually prefers. something along those lines, anyway. if he really wants less iso-ball i could almost see a utah/sloan system working well. indeed, maybe he could add sloan as another assistant.

lol Sloan as assistant coach will be way too luxurious, maybe hiring as a consultant will do properly. One advantage though is that Kidd can always decide to return to the court as a player while leaving Sloan coaching the team.
