I watched the Lakers/Houston game the other night. Drexler was the color guy.
I said to myself, this is the worst color guy EVER....and I then learned it was Drexler (who I love as a player). He is Tommy Heinsohn (sp?) level of homerism.

I'm more confused as to how the Rockets are playing so well missing Martin and Lowry.

The Mavs have actually played pretty well and we are only up 2 at half. Maybe its just that the Mavs aren't very good at all, but the Rockets are really impressive.

McHale has done a great job this year.

I'm not saying he's as good as those guys but take a look at these numbers.

Scola, as a starter, against playoff teams the past 3 years.
    24/13 on 57% shooting.

    That's pretty ****ing good

Honestly, I'd take him over Wade.

    This year? Yea..done.

Hopefully we can revamp the roster this summer and get an all nba type player in to take some pressure off Dirk.

Its a shame the whole Odom thing happened. We could have gone out and filled his roster position with a quality player pretty easily. Who would have ever guessed he'd just not even remotely give a shit for the entire season.

    Really a shame.

Deron would be ideal of course. Hopefully it happens. I'd just hate to see Dirk waste his last 2 or 3 years as an elite player without help.

This year is proving Dirk just can't walk on the floor and get you the W night in night out without a legit 2nd guy. He's been doing it his entire career pretty much....its finally time to get him a player as good or better than him.

He could be so great playing 28 to 32 minutes a game as the co best player or 2nd guy on a team. Its time to make that happen.

Part of me wants us to miss the playoffs and have Cuban/Nellie really go to work. This team is going to look crazy different next year no matter what...
