Default Did Varejao and David West take the two biggest L's last season?

West takes a massive paycut to be on a 67 win team only to get outshined by a 73 win team and bounced out in the second round

Varejao gets traded, signs with the warriors to coast his way to a championship, only to fail miserably and remind everyone how truly trash he is

Varejao was the most pathetic finals 'performer' i've ever seen, he'd be so embarrassed.

Gonna be awesome when they come out ringless again....

Andy was traded by the cavs, got cut, and was a free agent. Different from West's situation.

West for the simple fact Varejao didn't take a drastic pay cut. Not sure what West was thinking pick the Spurs over Warriors or Cleveland. Warriors were the best team in West (albeit coming off a gigantic asterisk title), and Cavs get to Finals every year as long as LeBron is there. Varejao's will be remember more for the simple fact he spent his first 11.5 seasons in Cleveland, got traded, and than lost to Cleveland when they finally won it.

Cleveland didnt want West, They had Thompson/Mozgov/Love/Varejao. So they didnt see West as useful

Cleveland had no interest in West. Their front court was already crowded and they wanted shooting in that area.

I honestly don't understand David West. That has to be one of the worst decisions ever.
You want to ring chase? How about doing that just after you collect last 12m of your last year?

His knees are shot. He thought he only had one season left so he went for it. The Spurs managed his minutes so well that it helped him recover from a couple of naggin' injuries and he felt way better by the end of the season.
